Race discrimination allegedly practiced by police department

Allegations of discrimination have hit the Buena Borough Police Department in New Jersey. According to a lawsuit filed in September, the department practices race discrimination in its dealings with Hispanics and African-Americans. The suit was filed by a Hispanic officer on the force.

Sexual harassment can come in many different forms and happens in both the private and public sectors. In a recent news story, a former executive of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce filed a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment by some fairly well-known people.

Unfortunately, finding work is often easier said than done as jobs are scarce due to the weak economy.
